Muhammad Hussain Hussaini

Vice Chancellor

I am Muhammad Hussain and my nick name is Hussaini. I was born in 1954, Barkhan Khail village, at the district of Ismail Khail and Mandozai , Khost province,  Afghanistan. I got my primary and secondary education at Sarban High School, and graduated in 1974. In 1975, after passing the entry examination got admission in medicine faculty at the University of Kabul. In 1975, I was sent to The Republic of Slovak formerly Check Slovakia to get higher education, and studied mathematics along with Slovakia language for six years. In 1981, I did my graduation in mathematics got RnDr. ( Doctor of Natural Sciences )  Red Degree from the university of Paul Joseph Sfarek, The Republic of Slovak that has been recognized as equal to the master degree by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.

I severed at Ministry of Defense, in the department of construction from 1982 to 1986 as an obligatory military service. In 1986 was appointed as academic cadre in the department of mathematics, in the faculty of science at Kabul University. I served there up to 1992 and the same year left my job there due to the deterioration of the security situation. In 2002 I returned to the former job and that year moved to Khost University (Currently known as Shaikh Zayed University) from Kabul University, and work here till to the time.

I remained as the director of students and teachers affairs for two years. Later, I was appointed as the Academic Vice Chancellor and working still on this post.

Besides administrative works I have also taught in the classes (almost 24-30 each semester) in the case of the lack of teachers. During this period I have taught various subject such as

and have prepared notes for the classes under the supervision of a guide lecture. I have also guided students’ seminars and monographs. I am also a member of academic council of faculty, academic council of the university, selection board and of the committee of academic grades.
