The Shaikh Zayed University is a rapidly growing university in Afghanistan. If we glance at its past , we come to know that this university started its journey from Peshawar passed its revolutionary stage at the name of Khost University in 2001 and finally reached to its destination where we see it today-Shaikh Zayed University. Around 4,000 alumni and 3,000 students who are enrolled in classes are the source of pride for it.
Shaikh Zayed University feels proud in providing knowledge to the unlucky people who were rubbed and smashed by the three decades of war. It is a fountain of knowledge that showers on the people, coming from the different parts of the country, to satisfy their thirst of learning.SZU is an institution where emphasis is placed on providing quality education.
Since I instigate my tenure as Vice Chancellor of Shaikh Zayed University in 2008, I intended to remain steadfast in achieving the goal: to continue to develop and improve quality educational programs that train and prepare students for headship positions and the challenges country faces at present. SZU helps the students to explore countless career pathways. We offer more than 20 programs that envisage education, law and political Science, medicine, engineering, literature, Islamic study and Sharya, Agriculture, Economics, journalism and computer science. Established in 1992, the University has made spectacular progress. We are committed to sustain this elating rate of progress.
