History of the Department
As mentioned above, after the administration and trade department, the finance and banking department was invented and is one of the active departments of the Faculty of Economics. The finance and banking department was established in 1392, in which At that time, there were four teachers, one master, one bachelor, and two others were engaged in master's degree in Germany.
The financial and banking department was facing severe problems in 1401. The biggest problem was the lack of teachers. There were only two teachers. Later, with the efforts of the department and the help of the university leadership, the vacancies were filled again. In 1402, the department had three professors, two of whom were master's degrees and one bachelor's degree, and one bachelor's professor who is currently working on his master's degree in Russia. Namzad is a professor working in finance and banking department.
Currently, in 1403, the finance and banking department has 6 professors, one of whom is teaching Master's in Russia, one professor, Muhammad Iqbal Sikandar, has been introduced to Kabul University's master's program, and the other 4 professors, 2 of whom are academics. And two of them are candidate professors and are currently teaching.
